Description
Buscopan Forte is an antispasmodic medication. It provides double strength relief for 'acute' stomach aches, pains and discomfort due to cramps and spasms by helping the muscles of the digective system to relax.
Buscopan Forte suppresses and relieves spasms and cramping of the stomach muscles. What makes it so effective in relieving stomach pain is its targeted effect. Rather than simply masking the pain, like an analgesic, Buscopan Forte acts on the cause of the pain: the cramping muscles.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 6 years - Take 1 tablet four times a day (maximum of 4 tablets daily). Tablets should be swallowed whole with fluid
The active ingredient: hyoscine butylbromide which is derived from the purified extract of the Australian native Duboisia Bush, grown and harvested in Kingaroy, Queensland. Hyoscine Butylbromide is one of the family of drugs known as antispasmodics.
