Dimetapp Elixir 200ml

Dimetapp Elixir is a great tasting medicine for Children's colds and allergies. It helps to relieves symptoms of:

• Nasal and sinus congestion

• Runny nose

• Itchy, watery eyes

• Sneezing

Dosage:

Children 2 to 4 years - Take 4mL every 6-8 hours.
Children 4 to 6 years - Take 5mL every 6-8 hours.
Children 6 to 12 years - Take 7.5mL Every 6-8 hours
Adults and Children over 12 years - Take 10 mL every 6-8 hours.

Note: Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

May be diluted with water or fruit juice. A measuring cup is included with this product for accurate dose measurement.

Active Ingredients:
Each 5mL contains

• Brompheniramine Maleate 2mg

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg

Also Contains: Sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, alcohol, sorbitol (16.8g/40mL). Sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Caution: If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, or are accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache, stop use and consult a doctor. These could be signs of a serious condition. Not for use on children under 2 years of age.

Warning: This product may cause drowsiness in some people. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.

Keep to recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26) or discontinue use and seek professional assistance immediately.
